Becky has provided our teams an hour of calm and relaxation whilst getting them moving on a Monday evening. The classes have attracted a wide range of our team and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, recommending to colleagues and getting their families involved too! With another lockdown on the horizon, we are excited to be extending our weekly yoga to our teams to provide them an opportunity to de-stress and increase their fitness levels!

The online yoga classes with Becky have been really wonderful. Yoga is a lot about connecting (or reconnecting) with your body, and that’s been a very positive experience for me. Covid has been a lot of time spent sitting at my desk, which is not great for either my mental or physical health. Taking the time to do yoga, finding ways in which my body is flexible or strong or weird, is a good reminder that I am not just a brain in a jar but rather that I how I interact with the physical world is one of the joys of being human. I have always appreciated that yoga is not about achieving a specific metric of success or perfection, but that rather the success is in finding what’s right for you on a certain day. It has been great to be reminded of that, and to rediscover the happiness of trying to balance in a half moon while my dog tries to help. At the end of 2020 I had a series of pretty bad migraines, which mostly seem to be triggered by stress, and I’ve been trying this year to take better care of myself. Yoga has definitely helped with that! I have more energy, am sleeping better, and find it easier to focus. A big thanks to Becky, and to Featurespace for organising. 🙂

Yoga sessions with Becky are a vital part of retaining mobility and strength after spending so much time in front of a computer Mon-Fri. It is amazing to have those sessions to stretch , chill and calm the noise bussing inside my head after a busy day, I ONLY wish I could fit more of them in. She is an exceptional tutor
Within a few weeks I was feeling a lot better
Having a stationary desk job I always knew I needed to stretch more, but could never find the motivation. As a result I have developed more and more aches and pains from tight muscles, some of which I have been trying to fix through physio.
As soon as I started yoga with Becky, I knew it was the right decision. Becky creates a warm, inviting and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home, and aims the sessions perfectly at the right level. Within a few weeks I was feeling a lot better, and the benefits have only increased in the time since.
I would really recommend Becky’s classes and am looking forward to even having some classes in person once the restrictions allow!
